Following your enhancement, permanent eyebrow aftercare is necessary to achieve MAXIMUM results. Please review the following instructions and refer to them as necessary. If during the healing process you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to contact me. You may experience the following for 4-5 days.
~Minor swelling and redness
~Itchiness in the eyebrow area
~Dry flaking skin
~These symptoms are a normal part of the healing process
~You may take Tylenol if you feel uncomfortable but Please AVOID Aspirin or Ibuprofen as they can cause blood thinning.
~Use Luke warm water on a cotton pad to gently clean off area after 24 hours post enhancement. DO NOT use soap or cleansers to tattooed area. Pat dry with clean paper towel and air dry area.
~Avoid heavy sweating 10-14 days.
~Avoid sleeping on your face for 10 days.
~Goal is to keep scabs clean, dry, and on for as long as possible. Dry healing has seen the best and most crisp results, therefore, if the area is very dry and you need some relief, only then smear a rice sized amount of Aquafor with a Q-tip, 1-2 times per day.
~10 days following procedure, no water, cleanser, or lotion. If enhancement gets wet in the shower, pat dry with clean towel.
~It is important to wash your hands with an antibacterial soap before touching brows and before applying Aquafor sparingly and only when necessary, to prevent infection/cross contamination.
~We recommend blotting your brows to remove excess moisture as necessary, with dry cotton pads.
~Keep your hair away from your enhancement to prevent possibility of infection.
~Driving with top down we strongly advise against during the healing process as Debri can get into your brows and cause an infection.
~Some itching is Normal, DO NOT PICK, PEEL, OR RUB your enhancement as the color may heal unevenly and you can risk infection, which in turn could lead to scarring. Allow the color to flake away by itself.
~Avoid skincare beauty treatments for at least 2 weeks after the application of your enhancement.
~DO NOT use anti-aging products such as Retin-A in the eyebrow region for 30 days post enhancement.
~Avoid makeup application in the enhancement area for a minimum of 2 weeks.
~DO NOT expose your enhancement to direct sun, tanning treatments, Jacuzzis, saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools, and direct shower spray, while enhancement heals.
~When Brows are completely healed, apply SPF 30 to prevent fading of your enhancement.
~DO NOT receive eyebrow tinting, waxing, electrolysis, or laser hair removal treatments close to the treated region.
~Your selected color will be stronger and more sharply defined for 10-14 days after application, but as the healing process occurs, the color will soften and lighten.
~The approximate healing period is 14 days, however, healing can be prolonged if your immune system is compromised, stress levels increased, age, and diet can all play a role in the healing process.
~SMOKING and IRON DEFICIENCY can fade pigments more rapidly.
~Brows can look spotty until exfoliating is complete-THIS IS NORMAL.
~Color can look faded at 2-3 week mark, this is due to a layer of skin healed above the enhancement. The ink will come up and show more in the next few weeks. This is 100% NORMAL
~4-6 weeks most people are have a fully healed enhancement.
~Keep in mind in many cases some unevenness of color is to be expected.
